The darned bridge at Kismeldon is finally open! Well sort of. Took 15 mins and near 5 miles off our journey, at least the petrol cost will now got down.
Tomorrow is our first craft fair of the season. Wish me luck.
with no greenhouse end up with about 50 runner bean plants on the bedroom window ledge.
Oh and 24 pea plants and about 20 tomato seedlings. Just waiting for the other stuff to start growing. Marrows, pumpkins, squash, gerkins, cucumbers and courgettes.
Where do I find time to work???? I have finished the "magi-knits" shawl though, made using James C. Bretts magiknits DK (80% acrylic, 20% wool) looks good with vertical stripes.
Sat at the computer writing a blog looking out of the window at the pouring rain.
Well seriously I currently have 3 shawls in progress, some glassware cooling and some tiles that need finishing. All this to be completed before Sunday's craft fair. Then I have just 2 Open Uni TMA's to do before next Wednesday...Oh yeah and a 500 mile round trip to Eastbourne to fit in too! All this with petrol prices hitting the roof...Aaaargh!
It would also be handy if the Kismeldon bridge was open. Anyone who has tried to go Bideford to Bradworthy will understand what I mean, 10weeks it was supposed to be, well 10 weeks has been and gone and we are still diverted through Putford! The joys of rural life, along with no chemist yet 2 vets! Oh and just 1 bus, to Bideford/Barnstaple not to our nearest town Holsworthy!
